Show News: 2004
Dusty and Morgan went to the Nippissing Kennel Club Shows mid October 04. Owner handled Dusty placed second in his class in three times and won Open dog class in the fourth show. Not to be outdone his mate Morgan wins 3 Reserve Winners bitch from the Open bitch class. How's that for consistency? We didn't have updated pictures of Morgan so we included the photo taken of her when she won the third place ribbon at the regionals in Toronto last year.
*2002 Nationals and Quebec Regional. She was entered in the 12 to 18 months class and she placed third(Nationals) and second(Quebec regionals). Not bad results for a cream golden shown under two American judges. Here are the judges names/info: At the National Specialty the judge was Ms. Coonie Gerstner-Miller of (Malagold goldens)Kalamazoo, Michigan. The Regional Specialty judge was Ms. Laurie Doumaux Clifton,Virginia (Oahu goldens)
Our Verdoro's Jemima is now a Champion. After she finished her championship in Alberta she came home and met our boy Trek. It was love at first sight! After a difficult pregnancy we retired Jemma. She is love dearly by her new family and is enjoying life as a single dog.
Remi going Best of Breed and a Group Third owner breeder handled at the Thanksgiving shows October,2000. Judge Betty McHugh.Co-owners Kent and Marie-Beth Moir were there to cheer him. Thanks for your support guys!
Blackpool's One N Only was born Oct.14th, 1998. So far she has 5 points, a couple of WB and BW wins, but we are most proud of her wins at the 1999 National Specialty and the Ottawa Specialty. She was consistently in the ribbons no mattter who the judge was, and in one of the largest puppy groups entered. She came home with three 2nd place ribbons and a 4th. Kendra also won 2 puppy in groups and six best puppy in breed. She has since proven to be a great mother and excellent producer.
Kendra's half-brother Remi went to the 2000 Nationals in Orangeville and came home with a reserve winners dog. He was owner/breeder handled all the way. The judge was Henric Fryckstrand of Sweden. Mr. Fryckstrand is a breeder judge who has and continues to breed some of the best Golden Retrievers in Europe. I have always admired his work. Visit his homepage at: Dewmist kennels and take a look at some of the best structured Goldens.
