Golden Retriever Rescue takes in, evaluates, and rehomes displaced, and unwanted Golden Retrievers into new famillies. Rescued goldens can range in age.
There are also All-Breed rescues in Canada which will take in various breeds, including goldens, for evaluation and placement.
Rescue organizations are always in need of volunteers, donations of cash and dog equipment (crates, leashes, etc). Contact your local organization to see how you may help.
